The pokestops are places that mark the GPS game in which there is a monument, sculpture or graffiti. When you reach a pokestop will give you a few objects and if you're lucky will give you an egg. The eggs hatch while you walk, there are different distances: 2km, 5km, and 10km (you can go better or worse pokémon eggs by distance). In the game you level up as you're capturing and evolving pokémon and can complete the pokedex. As you level you will, pokémon increasingly powerful serving gyms you to fight and conquer. Gyms also often located in monuments, metro, etc.
