The didgeridoo is a wind instrument used by Australian aborigines. Is a wooden tube which sounds when you vibrate the inside lips.

Probably, the didgeridoo is the most old instrument. At night, they were around the fire, singing and narrating stories. But they needed a instrument to had more fun,but they needed an easy one,so they created the didgeridoo. It was considerated a religious instrument. The denomiation of this instrument for the aborigines was 'Yidaki',that means:instrument of spiritual conection.

The word 'didgeridoo' is how european people called, but the aborigines don´t called it like that.Is a fonetic translation of what they heard when aborigines played it.They are made with eucalipt trunks with holes.
