The panda bear lives in the mountainous regions of central China and in the Tíbet to a height of until 3 kilometres.
The animal has around the eyes the black colour and part of his back also, the other is of white tonality. They measure around 1,2 to 1,8 metres of length and weigh between the 100 and 115 kilograms. They are very good swimmers and can remain in firm earth eating or perched
to a tree.
His diet is based in the bamboo and can happen of 10 to 12 hours feeding. It differentiates of other bears in having the skill to be able to feed seated, with his called sixth finger breaks easily the bamboo. In some occasions feed of birds, insects, eggs and small rodents, since the bamboo does not contribute him the necessary nutrients in relation to his size and weight.
