Over the years, Ethiopia and Kenya have produced many notable long-distance athletes.
Famous runners include Haile Gebrselassie, Kenenisa Bekele, Paul Tergat, and John Cheruiyot Korir.
Music in Black Africa
Black African music is centered in rhythm most than any other folk music. The drum is one of the most useful instrument, and there a lot of different kinds.
African music is polyrhythmic, usually consisting of multiple rhythms in one composition. Dance involves moving multiple body parts.

The mbira (also known as thumb piano) is a musical instrument that consists of a wooden board with attached staggered metal keys.
The balaphone is a wooden keyed percussion instrument. Sound is produced by striking the tuned keys with two padded sticks.
